Mak University

Mak University, the firm's continuing education program, was created to promote professional staff development. It includes a core curriculum of seminars and workshops throughout the year.

Programs are conducted by a combination of Makovsky staff and guest speakers, and the curriculum is reviewed and updated annually.

"We Achieve" program

Our "We Achieve" program recognizes individual contributions of our employees. Exceptional performance can be rewarded with higher pay, bonuses, increasing responsibilities and new challenges.

Comprehensive benefits

Makovsky + Company employee benefits include medical, dental, vision, prescription drug, life insurance, short and long-term disability and a 401(k) plan, which includes a generous company match.

Company culture

Our culture is built on a foundation of treating employees as well as it does its clients – no small task, given that building client loyalty is the centerpiece of the Makovsky philosophy.

"We are all each other's client," says president Ken Makovsky. "Employee enthusiasm breeds client enthusiasm."

Internship program

We take great pride in our internship program. In fact, several members of our professional team began as interns. Internship positions are open to third-and fourth-year college students as well as recent graduates.
