Andrew Goldberg is Executive Vice President and head of Makovsky Corporate Advisors, which provides change management and reputation enhancement solutions.

He has advised major corporations for over two decades, in some of the most challenging matters: mergers and post-merger integration, management and structural realignment within corporations, CEO and C-level succession, governance issues and major litigation. In addition, he has been involved in the realignment of marketing and brand strategies in most regions.

Andrew has worked for many international clients in a wide variety of industries, among them AIG, Airbus, Alcatel-Lucent, BASF AG, Chrysler Corporation, Daimler AG, H-P, McKinsey & Co., Mercedes-Benz, Merrill-Lynch, Shell and Sumitomo.

Prior to Joining Makovsky, Goldberg started a WPP advisory boutique, Pivot Red; served as chairman of the corporate practice at Burson-Marsteller, and was founder and CEO of a change management boutique, AGG International, which focused on aviation, transportation and chemicals.

He has had a long involvement in public affairs, having served on the staffs of the Center For Strategic and International Studies, The Brookings Institution, and The Rand Corporation.

Before his entrée into communications, Andrew was Senior Fellow and Director, Science and Technology Programs, at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, a Washington, DC think tank, and a Program Manager at the Rand Corporation, one of the premier defense and international security think tanks. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from George Washington University, and a Master’s and PhD in International Relations from Columbia University. He lives in New York City with his wife and three children.
